Umhlali Country Club

One of the most beautiful courses on the Kwa-Zulu Natal North Coast, Umhlali is an undulating parklands course populated by indigenous vegetation interspersed with palm trees. As with any Peter Matkovich course, water plays a big role in the design, with seven water holes on offer. Umhlali is one of the shorter courses, yet it provides something for golfers of all abilities.

Know as the gem of the North Coast, Umhlali Country Club off...ers an 18-hole Peter Matkovich designed golf course that promises to challenge and put your golf skills to the test. Laid out in two returning nines, Umhlali was built on what was once a sugar cane plantation. Over the years, the layout of the golf course has changed quite a bit at Umhlali since 1961 but has become the country club venue for sports and recreation on the KZN North Coast as they not only offer golf, but also offer bowls, tennis, and squash. With over 20 practice mats and a 220 meters driving range, you can practice and perfect your game at the driving range before heading out on the golf course.
