Situated in Boksburg, ERPM Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs on the East Rand and was opened in 1903. The golf course is 10km from OR Tambo International Airport and is set in a beautiful park-like surrounding. The golf course was upgraded in 1992 by Golf Data – the greens were completely reshaped and rebuilt, the bunkers redesigned and the water reticulation system replaced. The ERPM Golf course is a parkland layout with bent grass greens and well-conditioned Kikuyu fairways. Although a flat golf course, there are many trees lining the fairways and can be a difficult course to score well on despite it being short by Gauteng standards. The golf course has been consistently ranked within the Golf Digest Top 100 Golf Courses for South Africa. The clubhouse was rebuilt in 2004, and the new modern clubhouse has all the facilities to cater for any function or corporate golf day.
