Ceres Golf Club

Having originally been crafted by local community members with nothing more than a few donkeys to assist, the Ceres Golf Course offers something a little different from the average golfing estate in South Africa.

However, thanks to Danie Obermeyer’s design, this course is now a picturesque and fun one for golfers of various abilities. Obermeyer included rock features and water features to create a really pleasant setting in which to test your skills, while good drainage ensures the best green and fairway conditions.

The Ceres Golf Estate is situated in the breath-taking Breede River Valley, which is a mere 90-minute drive from Cape Town. This estate is focussed on the responsible environmental management of their beautiful property.

Golfers will enjoy playing while surrounded by indigenous plants and as much of the original vegetation as possible. The peace and serenity that characterises the course is quite irresistible, and has golfers returning again and again from all around the country.
