Ruimsig Country Club also know as Roodepoort, is one of Gary Player's first modern designs, Roodepoort is a parklands-style golf course with wide fairways reminiscent of a links design. Ranked one of the top forty courses in the country by Golf Digest in 2010, Roodepoort is consistently recognised as one of the best conditioned eighteen holes countrywide. The greens at Rooderport are exquisite, with the bent grass greens superb for putting, the rough on the other hand can prove quite a challenge, but good shots are always rewarded.
