Golf Course Information

One can easily see why the Kempton Park Golf course, designed by Grimsdell and Kerr in 1965, is where Ernie Els learned to play.  The “greenest course in eastern Gauteng”, situated on Zeefontein farm, creates an excellent balance between risk and reward.  From start to finish, golfers are challenged into making an informed shot selection and rewarded superbly when they do so.  The 4th and 14th holes, the two toughest on the course, both demand accurate driving, with water hazards and out-of-bounds lying on either side of each fairway.  Water appears prominently on the course, with seven holes featuring water hazards.  This course should appeal to both amateurs looking for a challenge, as well as to more adept golfers seeking plentiful reward.
